這幾天在整理我的卡帶，卡帶ㄟ，好像很久沒看到這玩意了！
錄音機撥放著Simon & Garfunkel 唱的 "The Sound of Silence"，
思緒也回到我的高中時期～～

還記得是高一時，參加吉他社，為什麼會選擇吉他社呢？一部分是因為看到學姊們在台上的表演，覺得很帥氣，我想很多同學也是因為崇拜學姊而加入吧！另一部分是因為從小學鋼琴，很想要去學習其他樂器．上了第一次的社團課之後，就嚷著要去買一把新的民謠吉他，其實家裡有一把古典吉他，但是其他同學都有買，我當然不甘心就拿著家裡那把古典吉他，爸爸也讓我如願，全新的吉他，開始我的吉他夢．

有一次老師上課時，開始介紹 Simon & Garfunkel 這個組合，及他們著名的歌曲，特別說到 "The Sound of Silence"，老師推薦我們可以去仔細聽吉他的部分，而且極力讚賞 Art Garfunkel 的聲音，好奇之下，我買了卡帶放來聽，馬上被那純淨及優美的樂音所吸引，Garfunkel 的聲音高亢又清脆，兩人的合聲，配上單純的吉他撥弦，難怪這首已成為他們的經典，即便是多年之後再聽，仍不減我對他們聲音，及這首歌曲的喜愛．不過十分的可惜，他們合作幾張唱片之後，就分道揚鑣，Paul Simon 仍繼續發行專輯，而 Art Garfunkel 好像在個人專輯上並沒有很好的回響，也就慢慢消失在歌壇．

這沉默之聲，再次回憶起年少的日子～～

嗨！黑暗　我的老友　我又來找你聊天了
只因有個幻影緩緩的爬行　趁我熟睡時灑下種籽
如今幻影已種植在我腦海裡　和沈默之聲共存

在無盡的夢裡　我一個人走在　圓石鋪成的狹窄街道上
在街燈的光暈下　我豎起衣領抵擋濕冷的天氣
閃爍的霓虹燈刺痛了我的眼睛
光芒分割了夜晚　也觸動了沈默之聲

沒有燈罩的燈光下　我看到了數以萬計或更多的人們
人們聊天而不談心　用耳朵聽而不用心聆聽
人們寫歌　歌聲裡卻毫無感情
也沒有人敢去驚擾沈默之聲

「傻瓜！」我說：「你不曉得．．」
「沈默像癌症一樣蔓延　聽聽我可能教導你的話語　
握住我伸出的手也許能幫助你。」
但這些話像無聲的雨落下　在沈默的井裡發出回聲 

人們對著自己造出來的神奇霓虹膜拜祈求　招牌上閃示著警告　
在它顯現的字句中　說著：
「先知的箴言　寫在地下鐵的牆壁和廉價公寓的門廳上
並且在沈默之聲中低語．．」
